Katie loaded all her treasures including her two great roomates, Maria and Sylvia,
into the tenney mobile and cruised to Rexburg. She worked her magic and even
got the girls luggage and "the chicken too" into the trunk and then the three of
them snuggled into the very smallish backseat, no leg room, for eight hours-
When the rest stop came, cartwheels were in order to "check it" to see if the
legs still had circulation. The scenry was beautiful, the music was great as we
reflected on Leah's dance at Katie's 21st party the weekend before, and the
conversation was great-we played the game "where would you like to go today
if you could go anywhere"-imagine-Sylvia and Maria would love to be in
Ecuador-and the rest of us wanted to be in Italy, Paris, skiiing, or anywhere
but in the car. We are got excited to pull off for a few minutes to a kind of
"ghost town" and stretch a little before we saw THE sign that meant we had
arrived. When we pulled into the apartments, Jay, Katie's good friend, was there
to help us unload-he joined us for errand running and even came with us to
Craigo's, Katie's favorite restuarant, later in the evening. We had to take a quick
drive to the Rexburg Temple, to get an upclose of the beautiful scenry. We were
glad to have Katie be so excited to get back to the books and the learning.
